kayaking Desolation Sound
In honor of Alex's Dad's would be 60th birthday, he and I set out on a week-long kayaking adventure into the Canadian wilderness. We covered around 80 nautical miles as we explored Desolation Sound and the surrounding area. During one of our nightly conversations around the fire, Alex told me a piece of advice his dad gave him when he was younger; "don't drive past a forest and not be able to tell me what the trees look like."
